Ingredients :
Olive Oil 95 grams
13 grams lye(NAOH,
sodiumhydroxide) and 28 gramsdistilledwaterforlyesolution
5 grams Daphne oil (coldprocces)
How to Prepare
- Firstly we prapere lye solution.
Weight the lye and pour it into the distilled water, so mix together lye (NAOH,
sodium hydroxide) and water. Sodium hydroxide is a harmful chemical. So u must to do
that, u will be careful. This procedure should kept away from children and do it outdoors. Do
this absolutely outdoors, by wearing a mask, use glove sand wearin gsafety goggles.
Stir well lye and water.It will give off strong fumes and heat up quickly. Because of that u
must to prepare lye solition very carefully on outdoors.
Wait for lye solition to cool to room temperature.
- Mix the oils together.
Pour the lye solition into the oils slowly, caferully and stirring with stick or blender.
- Add 1 pinch salt after mixing a
little.
-When the lye and oil are completely mixed,
continue to mix the soap mixture for about 35-40 minutes.
- The mixture gets the consistency of
the pudding, Daphne Soap mixture is ready.
- Then pour the mixture of
Daphne Soap into the mold. After 3 days , slice up and cure.
-Letcure in the open air for 6
weeks before using. Because we must to wait saponification reaction for 6 weeks.
-Then 6 weeks u
will use home made daphne soap (Anatolia soap recipe or Apello Soap Recipe) at your bath.
This soap is
full natural home made soap (DIY soap recipe)and it will smell very well at your home.
