Ingredients for Milk Flour Halva Recipe

1 tea cup of oil (100 ml)
2 spoonful butter
1.5 cups of flour
1.5 cups sugar
Half a cup of  walnuts
2 cups of milk (400 ml)

How To Make Flour Halva

- Firstly Prepare the syrup. Sugar and milk (400 ml) in a pan and bring it to boil. Let it simmer for a few minutes and then remove from the heat. Just enough sugar dissolves in milk.

- Melt butter in a large pan and add in oil (100 ml). After that add flour on it. Stir it well (takes about 20 minutes and stir constantly) using a wooden spoon and bring it to very low heat and keep stirring until the flour gets amber color and you feel a toasted aroma. Remove it from the heat.

- Pour in the hot syrup when the flour is amber and remove from the heat. Add into walnuts and keep stirring halva as it cools down. You will see it holds together and forms a ball. You can give it an oval shape using a tablespoon or you can just serve it in bowls or on plates. You can top it with cinnamon or pistachio .
