Natural Homemade Shampoo Recipe

- To start, boil 1 root of burdock in 3 cups of water over low heat with the lid on for 45 minutes.

- Strain the boiling burdock infusion and let it cool. Burdock contains natural saponins, which have a foaming effect. It's a natural cleanser that cleans and shines the hair, and it's also highly beneficial for the skin.

- Add nettle to 1 cup of hot water, cover it, and let it steep. Nettle infusion nourishes the hair and promotes hair growth.

- Take three-quarters of the four cups of burdock infusion to a saucepan and add 1 tablespoon of starch. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens. Starch also helps absorb excess oil from the hair and balances the hair's oil content. It repairs split ends thanks to its mineral and vitamin content. Remove the mixture from the heat when it reaches the desired consistency.

- Extract the inner liquid from fresh aloe vera. Aloe vera, with its B12 vitamin and folic acid content, prevents hair loss and helps repair sun damage to the hair.

- Mix 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and aloe vera into the mixture while it's still warm, stirring until fully combined. Then add 1 cup of the cooled nettle infusion and mix well.

- Mix 1 teaspoon of white clay, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of grape vinegar, enough to make it foam, into the mixture.

- Next, add 1 tablespoon of pure olive oil, up to 5 drops of lavender oil, up to 5 drops of peppermint oil, and the same amount of garlic oil, and mix thoroughly. All of these oils, along with the baking soda, vinegar, and clay, have various benefits for the hair. Peppermint oil, in particular, should be added if you have dandruff issues.

- Apply the homemade shampoo to your hair, massaging it in, and leave it on for a while before thoroughly rinsing it with plenty of water. If you finish with a vinegar rinse in your final rinse water, you'll notice the difference in your hair's shine after the first use.

This natural shampoo recipe provides an alternative without chemicals that could be beneficial for your hair. However, everyone's hair type is different, so you may need to experiment a bit to see the results. Choosing the right essential oils for your hair type is also important.
