Contrary to what may be believed, the recipe for Pearl Onion and Meat Saute, also known as Pearl Onion and Meat Roast, is quite straightforward. Since it includes meat and potatoes, the cooking time is only about an hour. Slow-cooked with onions and vegetables, the tender meat acquires a delightful texture and a wonderful aroma.

Here are the ingredients for the Pearl Onion and Meat Stew:

- 3 tablespoons of olive oil for sautéing
- 1 tablespoon of vinegar
- 1/4 cup of hot water
- 1/2 kilogram of diced meat
- 250 grams of pearl onions
- 1 medium-sized potato
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- Enough hot water to cover the mixture during cooking

And here's how to make it:

1. Heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pot. Add the diced meat and cook with occasional stirring until browned.

2. Once the meat releases its juice, add 1 tablespoon of vinegar and 1/4 cup of hot water. Continue to cook with the lid on.

3. When the meat starts to absorb the liquid, add the peeled pearl onions (about 250 grams) and 2 cloves of garlic. Continue to cook with occasional stirring.

4. When most of the liquid has evaporated, add 1 tablespoon of tomato paste and the diced medium-sized potato. Stir and sauté.

5. Finally, add enough hot water to cover the mixture, then add salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Close the lid and let it simmer over low heat.

6. After cooking for about half an hour, remove from heat.
