Sadrazam Delight Recipe - A Delicious Turkish Dessert

Sadrazam delight is a delicious and impressive dessert with its soft texture and rich flavor. It is made by preparing a cake similar to sponge cake, soaking it in milk, and is a dessert that is very easy to make at home.

**Ingredients for Sadrazam Lokumu:**

For the cake:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- Baking powder, vanilla extract

For the custard:
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

For soaking:
- Milk
- Desiccated coconut

**Instructions:**

1. Start by beating 3 eggs and 1 cup of granulated sugar until the mixture turns white, about 5 minutes. Then add the warm water and continue to beat for another minute.

2. Sift 1 1/2 cups of flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract into the mixture. Use a wooden spoon to gently mix until well combined.

3. Pour the prepared sadrazam lokumu batter into a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Spread it thinly and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 10 minutes or until the cake is golden brown on top.

4. While the cake is baking, prepare the custard. In a saucepan, combine 3 cups of milk, 1 tablespoon of flour, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, and 1 cup of granulated sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and starts to bubble.

5. Once the custard has thickened, remove it from the heat and let it cool.

6. After the cake has cooled, roll it into a log and let it cool to room temperature.

7. Slice the rolled cake in half lengthwise. Place plastic wrap under each half and spread a layer of custard and banana slices in the middle. Roll it up again and cover with plastic wrap to help it hold its shape. Let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

8. After removing the rolls from the refrigerator, cut them into pieces about two centimeters wide. Dip each piece in milk and then coat generously with desiccated coconut. Arrange them on a serving platter.

9. Let the sadrazam lokumu rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving. Enjoy your homemade sadrazam lokumu!
