Closed Pide, also known as Bafra Pide, is a delicious Turkish dish that is typically enjoyed fresh from the oven. If you'd like to make this savory treat at home using your own ingredients, here's the simple and tasty recipe we're sharing with you.

Ingredients for Closed Pide:
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/3 cup of warm water
- Half a packet of instant yeast

For the Filling:
- 300 grams of ground meat
- 1 medium-sized onion, finely chopped
- Salt and spices to taste

To Brush on Top:
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 egg yolk

Closed Pide Recipe Instructions:
- Mix 1 cup of flour and 1 teaspoon of salt, then create a well in the center.
- Add half a packet of instant yeast into the well, and gradually add 1/3 cup of warm water while kneading.
- Knead until you have a non-sticky dough.
- Cover the dough with a cloth or plastic wrap and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
- Prepare the filling by cooking 300 grams of ground meat with finely chopped onion, salt, and spices.
- Divide the risen dough into three equal parts and roll each into a thin, oblong shape.
- Place the filling in the center of each piece and fold the edges, sealing the pide.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil with 1 egg yolk and brush it over the pides.
- Preheat the oven to a high temperature until it reaches a golden brown color before placing the pides inside.
- Place an inverted baking tray in the oven (or use a pizza stone if available) for even baking.
- Arrange the prepared closed pides on the heated tray and bake for approximately 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
- Once out of the oven, drizzle some butter on top, cut in half, and serve the pides while still hot. Enjoy!
