Instructions
Step 1: Melt the Butter
Heat a large saucepan over medium heat and add 70 grams of butter. Wait for the butter to melt completely, but be careful not to burn it.
Step 2: Add the Marshmallows
Once the butter has melted, add 250 grams of marshmallows. Stir constantly to ensure the marshmallows melt completely and blend with the butter. This process takes about 3-4 minutes. The mixture should become smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Add the Milk Powder
After the marshmallows have completely melted and combined with the butter, add 50 grams of milk powder. Stir quickly to prevent the milk powder from clumping. It's important that all ingredients form a homogeneous mixture.
Step 4: Add the Nuts
Once the mixture becomes homogeneous, turn off the heat. Immediately add your 150 grams of mixed nuts and stir quickly. Make sure the nuts are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
Step 5: Shape It
Place parchment paper on your counter. Pour the prepared nougat mixture onto the parchment paper. Using a spatula or spoon, flatten the mixture into a rectangular shape about 2-3 cm thick.
Step 6: Let It Set
Allow your nougat to cool slightly at room temperature. Then refrigerate for 2 hours. This time is necessary for the nougat to harden and reach the right consistency for slicing.
Step 7: Slice and Serve
After removing from the refrigerator, use a sharp knife to cut into desired sizes. Your nougat pieces are ready to serve!
