Ingredients for Colorful Meringues:
- Whites of 3 eggs
- 1 cup of granulated sugar

1. Add a pinch of salt to the whites of 3 eggs and start whisking at low speed. Whisk until the egg whites thicken, which takes about 5 minutes.

3. The egg whites will thicken and turn snowy white as you whisk. If you can turn the bowl upside down without any dripping and the whisked egg whites stay in place, then it's the right consistency.
4. Once you've reached the right consistency, gradually add 1 cup of granulated sugar while continuing to whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
5. In total, whisk for about 10 minutes, but don't add the sugar before the egg whites thicken.
6. The resulting meringue mixture is now ready. Divide it equally into 3 separate bowls and add approximately 4 drops of different food coloring to each bowl. Gently fold the mixture from bottom to top using a different spatula or spoon for each color, being careful not to deflate the foam. 7. Pipe the meringue dough into desired shapes, about the size of cookies, on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

1. One of the most crucial aspects of the meringue recipe might be the baking stage. Pay attention here. Place the baking tray in a preheated oven at 100 degrees Celsius and bake for exactly 1 hour. Note that it's a low temperature, so bake for the full hour.
