Budget-Friendly and Delightfully Tender Swiss Chard Pastry Recipe




You can prepare an incredibly tender and delicious Swiss chard pastry thanks to the effect of the Swiss chard juice during the baking process.

Ingredients for Swiss Chard Pastry Recipe:
- 1 bunch of Swiss chard 
- 4 sheets of ready-made pastry dough 
- 1 bowl of cottage cheese 
- 1 medium-sized onion 
- Salt and black pepper
- 1 cup of vegetable oil (200 ml) 
- 1 cup of milk (200 ml) 
- 2 eggs

Swiss Chard Pastry Preparation:
- Finely chop 1 bunch of Swiss chard.
- Sauté 1 onion in olive oil, then add the Swiss chard and continue to sauté until the chard wilts.
- Add salt and black pepper to the cooked vegetables.
- Add 1 bowl of cottage cheese to the cooked mixture and stir.
- Mix 1 cup of vegetable oil, 1 cup of milk, and 2 eggs to prepare the sauce.
- Cut 4 sheets of ready-made pastry dough into triangles, each sheet should be divided into four.
- Brush the surface with the egg mixture, place the Swiss chard mixture on the wider part of each triangle, wrap it, and shape it into a rose.
- Brush generously with the sauce and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about half an hour.
- Your Swiss Chard Pastry is ready, enjoy!
