Benefits of Horseradish Root
Horseradish root, similar to ginger, is a plant variety usually sold in dried form. It has a slightly bitter taste but offers numerous benefits. Its homeland is Southeast Asia. Horseradish's benefits range from alleviating joint and rheumatic pains to regulating irregular menstruation.

Horseradish is particularly effective in speeding up the recovery from respiratory diseases like colds and strengthens the immune system. It serves as a remedy for headaches and, when used correctly, regulates the digestive system. It also has diuretic and anti-edema properties. Horseradish is a virus killer, especially effective against bad breath.

Despite its many advantages, excessive use of horseradish is said to lead to stomach problems. Therefore, it is not recommended for those with diabetes, hypertension, or acid reflux.

How to Brew Horseradish Tea
One of the best ways to consume horseradish is by preparing horseradish tea.

Ingredients for Horseradish Tea:
- 2 cups of water
- 3 or 4 horseradish roots

Preparation of Horseradish Tea:
- Boil 2 cups of water.

- Add dried horseradish roots to the boiling water and let it simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.

- Normally, herbal teas are not recommended to be boiled with water, but due to the woody nature of horseradish, this method is necessary to extract its essence.

- Turn off the heat and cover the pot. Let it steep for 5 minutes.

- After straining, it will have a slight bitter taste when hot. Optionally, you can add a cinnamon stick or honey before consuming.
