Delicious Homemade Potato Chips Recipe

If you're one of those who think you can't recreate the same chips you buy in ready-made packages, your opinion will completely change after watching this video. You can easily make delicious homemade potato chips with the same crispiness as store-bought ones.

Ingredients for Homemade Original Chips:
- 3 medium-sized potatoes
- 1 liter of vegetable oil
- Salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika
- Salt and a basin of water
- For making it spicy

Instructions for Making Chips:
- Thinly slice 3 medium-sized potatoes. You can use a tool like the one in our homemade chips recipe video below.
- Let the thinly sliced potatoes soak in a basin of salted water in the refrigerator for 1 hour to separate the starch and firm them up.
- After soaking, drain the potatoes and wash them thoroughly under the tap, one by one.
- Drop about 15 slices into 1 liter of hot oil, stirring occasionally for 2 minutes to prevent sticking.
- Arrange the slices on a towel one by one and pat them dry.
- While the first batch is cooling, fry another 15 slices in the same way, then place them on the paper towel again.
- After 2 minutes, take them out of the oil and arrange them on the paper towel one by one. This step will cool them down and remove excess oil. Arrange the potato slices separately in this process.
- Transfer the cooked chips to a plate lined with paper towels and fry the second batch of potatoes in the same way.
- Add the cooled first batch of potatoes one by one and fry them for about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally until they turn golden brown on medium heat.

The cooled chips are ready to serve. Optionally, you can add salt and spices and mix to prepare them with extra flavor.
